Newfoundland dogs Sweet Riverdance is a site build for your information and in honor and celebration of the breed. The photos are from our dogs or offspring of them :-)
We screen on following healt issues despite it is not obligated by the NCB (Newfoundland club Belgium) or KMSH (Belgian kennelclub):
- Hips obligated by the KMSH
- Elbows because we care
- Heart because we care
- Cyst because we care
All our breeding dogs have a DNA profile.(dutch only)
We are devoted to our breed
And as we feel the Newfoundland breed needs to be preserved in all facets for the future. Exterior should be kept in function of their work ability and health maintained as good as possible by screening thoroughly.
Our well known BISS/BIS/RUBIS Grand Champion Sweet Riverdance Digs up gold is an example of merit of hard work and is owned and loved by breed specialists whom own the Newfcastle kennel in Australia.
"Digger", as the world knows him is not only a Top male but he proofs himself as stud by giving healthy, typed offspring who all shine in the show ring and are Champions already at very young age. Our goal to breed "all in quality" is reached but without Sweet Riverdance Bigsmile, Diggers mother, we would not have reached what we aimed for. Thank you Smiley.
